When Cymatic uTrack X32 card is inserted, I’m unable to record 2mix on mixer’s USB thumb drive. I can’t record nor save anything on the USB thumb drive. When I try to save a scene or access the thumb drive, I get FILE IO SYSTEM ERROR. I tried 3 different thumb drives, and they were all working prior to cards installation. The card has latest firmware, as well as the mixer.

Is this some sort of limitation when uTrack is inserted, so that mixer’s USB is inaccessible or do I have a bad card or maybe something else…?

    Hi Bojandugic

Was the drive formatted using the uTrack-X32 card? It is an important step. The device formats with big cluster size which optimizes the file writes.

    Thanks for your reply digichetan.

Perhaps, I should’ve been more concise with my issue’s description.

I don’t have a problem recording to the drive that is attached to the uTrack’s USB port. That one is of course formatted using the card and it’s working just fine.

I have a problem with mixers USB access port. The one that comea with the mixer. That one is giving me an error. Thumb drives were formatted as FAT using both PC and MAC. When the card is taken out of the mixer, the thumb drive(s) attached to USB port on the mixer work just fine.

I’m just perplexed with this issue…i can’t even seem to find anyone online with a mirror problem…What’s the remedy here?

    Hi Bojandugic,

Ok, so if I understand correctly, the problem always occurs when uTrack-X32 is connected and does not occur when the uTrack-X32 card is pulled out?

This problem is really strange and we have probably never tested this and never heard anyone complain about this. We will try it out next week and let you know what we find.

Yes, you understood it correctly, that is exactly the scenario.
