The uTrack-X32 records to multichannel wav file, the channel count all the time 32 channels.

There’s some misunderstanding.
I said you cannot playback and record in the same time with the uTrack-X32 card.
If you are using the card for playback you can still use the Midas console stereo recording feature. This feature does not depend on the uTrack-X32 card.
If you set up the recording from the input channels of the console, the routing take the signal right after the gain control, so no effects, no dynamics or fader, mute are applied on the signal. This is how the mixing console routing is done.
