I use QuickDMX and their USB->DMX interface to control the lighting. Scenes are being triggered by MIDI by the uTrack.
And indeed you need to program your scenes and such yourself and trigger them by MIDI by implementing them into your song projects to align them with the audio. Takes up quite some time but if you have the basics setup each new song will be more easier to program…
And @MarcGreenwood: Well, to me this device triggers DMX based on the audio. You can setup which frequency it should output a certain DMX signal, at least that’s what I understood when I quickly looked at it.
A fully programmed and in-sync lighting show is not something this machine is capable of, at least not if you want to be in full control of which scenes (colours, movements, etc) are being applied when.
