1) Do you have the exact same song length and midi file length? It must match.
2) I always start at absolute zero and send my 1st program change there, so there’s a midi event at the audio files’ 1st beat. 
This is what my problem usually came down to, usually. Show some pics of what you have if this doesn’t fix it for you. I will be around tonight. I have 40 tunes done up for live use. Best of luck, Shep
