No, the 48V phantom power will never appear on the TRS input, only on the XLR (microphone) input.
The reason for offering a SubD25 to XLR cable is that in most professional applications XLR connectors are also used for line level signals.

And don’t think that you bypass the input amplifier stage when using the TRS connector; in most cases the line input is just attenuated before feeding it the the preamplifier stage… (Although sometimes there are exceptions.)
But no worries, the difference won’t be audible for ‘normal’ ears…
