I read somewhere it could heat unttil 69°C by through USB 3.0 ports, and could damage the ports.

With USB 2.0 ports (can you confirm it is a USB 2.0 port on the LP-16 ?), the temperature will be lower as the transfer speed will be also lower.

I think here it is about 50-55°C. Do you have an idea from which temperature, this would damage the LP-16 USB port ?
