does the unit respond to mtc mmc

Is there any other way to send some form of scriptable remote command to the unit. I think the u track (or lp16) can be a real hit in the permanent exhibition market if it able to communicate.
Our technical director would like to use a Joeco BB but that lacks the audio interface possibility which is important to me.
