you are indeed mixing up a few things:
1) the uRemote software can only be used for uTrack24. Not LP
2) uTOOL (OSX/SIM) is the utlity/conversion program that can be used for content creation & management for both units
3) regardless of the remote control as described above, to my knowledge, ALL cymatic products can act as an USB audio interface for Mac/WIN and IOS
