meter with android tablet without wifi

I bought a cheap NetGear wireless router, and when you set it up the first time, it creates its own wifi (NET_WIFI) to allow connection to a computer to be setup on the “real” wifi. I did none of that and simply connect my iPad to such NET_WIFI wifi, which does not have internet, but who cares. Then the uRemote app syncs perfectly with the uTrack24 including the meter displays.
This was just meant to address the fact that a wifi with internet is not required for this to work this way.
