I use ENTTEC Hardware and D-Pro Software.
D-Pro in the last Version 1.5.2 (it is a beta but works fine) you can send the MIDI-commands from the control panel to Cubase, DMXIS etc.
It is the kind of solution that fits my needs perfectly.
