In the mixer you can see the multitrack (16 mono) output of your LP-16. The panning not possible on mono channels, because the source files are also mono.
If you wanted to use multitrack mode for playing back stereo files, you need to split the stereo song to two mono channel eg. with Audacity. When you assign this files to 2 multitrack channel you will have Left and Right channel output.
