ParticipantSomething I just read on the forum suggested that it would not be possible to input 24 channels via AudioLan and have them output via the 24 ch analog ports.
So my follow up question is can send 24 channels of audio from the analog input out the AudioLan card? Or does the AudioLan card only talk to the recorder and mixing sections of a uTrack24?
Thanks

KeymasterHi wolftraks,
Please find the signal flow diagram of uTrack24 below:
https://imgur.com/a/1fdgvAs you can see in playback mode the inputs are muted; In recording mode the outputs are muted.
So in recording mode if you feed the analog inputs the uTrack24 does not send out any signal to the analog/digital outputs.12th December 2016 at 23:35 #27687Alan
ParticipantThanks the diagrams are helpful. So it look in the third diagram that it is possible to input 24 channels via AudioLan and have them output via the 24 ch analog ports, but only when the uTrack24 is hooked to a computer via the USB port?
It also looks like you could input analog to the uTrack24 and output digital via AudioLan, provide the uT24 is wired thru a computer via the USB port?
Do I have that right? Does anyone know the delays involved in these transformations?

KeymasterYes, It should work in USB interface mode.
The delay must be depend on the buffer size of the driver. Couple of milliseconds excepted (around 5ms)
BTW I’ll forward your request to our developers because I think it make sense to have D/A; A/D option where no USB drive connected to the uTrack24 and the device also not connected to the PC/MAC in this case the delay can be around 1ms - AuthorPosts
