ParticipantI have the motu 24 Ai and want to use the optical Adat outs for the Utrack as optical input.
Is it possible with the Utrack24 Adat Card to monitoring (playback) the optical inputs 1-24 thru the analog outputs?
Can I use the adat interface of the Utrack24 as a analog breakoutbox for all Channels? Thanks….

KeymasterHi iontec,
When ADAT card installed in the uTrack24 an additional menu appear where you can decide where are the inputs coming from Analog or ADAT (in 8 channels groups eg 1-8; 9-16; 17-24)
Then if you select any of this 8 channels group ADAT as input source then the pre-recording enabled in the uTrack24 in idle state you can listen the input sources downmix on the headphones or Main out 1-2 (TRS) on the uTrack24.
But the uTrack24 cannot pass trough the adat input signal to the DB25 analog outputs.5th November 2016 at 21:26 #27532audioworksHU
ParticipantHi Laszlo,
Regardless of Input settings (Analog/MADI/ADAT/AudioLan), if ADAT Outputs are configured to ADAT Input 1/2/3, will the ADAT Input streams simply pass thru the uTrack24 ADAT board during recording?
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Rafael,
Yes the uTrack24 pass thru the ADAT signal if ADAT Outputs are configured to ADAT Input 1/2/3, even if you recording form the local inputs or ADAT inputs as well.
(The ADAT in signal and the uTrack24 recording sample rate have to be in the same sample rate)
You need to know if the uTrack24 sample rate changing (recording or playback) that will change the ADAT card sample rate as well.7th November 2016 at 18:12 #27534audioworksHU
