ParticipantHi, first gig with the ADAT card tonight. Selected inputs, matched sample rate, all meters were peaking with no input so I selected ‘Digital I/O’ for clock source, instead of ‘internal’.
Problem is that tracks 15, 16, 22, 23, and 24 are intermittently showing a completely clipped, peaked signal, and noise is present in the tracks when listening. But when I use the same exact cable/output source on another recorder, it is fine. Also, when I choose ‘analog inputs’, the recording is fine.
Seems to me the ADAT card has a problem. I reseated it, checked/swapped cables, etc. No change.
Any suggestions?
Thanks all.

KeymasterHi Tony,
Can you tell me please what is the firmware version of your uTrack24?
As you wrote if you are using ADAT inputs you should use the the Digital I/O sync so that part look OK to me.
I do not see any other settings what can cause similar issue.9th September 2016 at 20:23 #27355Tony Hillhouse
ParticipantFirmware 3474–isn’t that the only one that provides support for the adat card? If there are others somewhere I’m happy to try them.
Are you suspecting a problem with the adat card?
Thanks.
