    Connecting more channels via ADAT enables more outputs from DAW ? (as with regular soundcards with ADAT options) If so, what is the maximum extra channels I can pull out, 24 more?

    Hi,

    If you are using any digital expansion card with uTrack24 does not add you extra channels.
    The uTrack24 has an input selector where you have an option to set 3×8 channels groups are coming from the digital or analog inputs. On the output side you’ll have analog and digital in the same time.

    Ah ok, so it doesn’t function as regular soundcard that has adat expansion options. Since I’ll be using the machine in soundcard mode mostly, was hoping to add 8 more channels via adat so I have 32 outs from DAW to mixing console…
