Can't install frimware updato because win 8.1 does not see the device - Cymatic Audio

Just bought LP16.
Tried to update it from firmware 956 to 958. But every time i launch as admin the updater x64 the screen is “no supported device conncted”. Is there a way i can update the lp16 directly from the usb thumb dreive port?
How can i solve?
in addition, i cannot properly end the installation process for the usb interface. at hte end it keeps me telling installation failed. I rather pisse off because nothing seems to work just out of the box.

Hi,
First you have to install a driver on your computer.
We have a dedicated driver for windows 8.1 users, please make sure you have downloaded the right version.
Once the driver installed (need to remove the USB drive from the LP-16 during driver installation or firmware update) you can start the firmware updater on your computer.
