    Hello everyone,

    I need some help. I’ve got the LP-16 and I’m looking into setting up a small lighting rig for my band, and controlling it via MIDI.

    My question is, if I program the show using Enttec DMXIS in Logic Pro X, and then go ahead and export the midi file (making sure the tempo is correct for the song and if multiple changes occur in the same locations, they are ever so slightly off from each other), will this work if I use a MIDI to DMX converter / lighting desk with MIDI with the right amount of DMX channels and connect it from the LP-16?

    Sorry for not giving an answer. But you mentioned “midi file (making sure the tempo is correct for the song)”
    How do you do this? I mean how do you export midifile regardless the “grid”? How can I make a midifile that is read straight from left to right as it is?

    I would like to know if this works as well. And if so, what hardware (Midi to DMX Converter) did you end up using?
