ParticipantHello
I recently got a Utrack 24 for the purpose of using as a sound interface for my synths and drum machines. I am experiencing drop outs and crashes every time I use with device with Ableton Live 9 and it’s quite frankly very annoying. Yesterday the mixer panel showed 52 drop-outs detected. I have to restart the device every time a crash or dropout happens as Ableton can’t detect the device.
I have the latest firmware installed (was already on the device when I bought it, so I’m guessing it’s from the latest factory batch).
Today I had a blue screen crash that said:
Stop code: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
What failed: utrack24_usb_x64.sysI am using Win10, Amd Ryzen 5 2600, 16gb ram. Usually settings in mixer panel are set to Minimum Latency or Low Latency, 64 samples or up to 256 samples. I’ve tried using reliable or safe and +1024 samples but crashes and drop out still happens. If I use +512 samples and Relaxed/further above I for instance will get massive stuttering when using web applications like YouTube.
Crashes/drop out have only so far happened when using Ableton Live 9.

KeymasterHello Toomas.
Somehow I am suspicious that issue is caused by the long USB cable.
Could you please test with the included USB cable (less than 1meters) or insert an USB hub between your computer and the uTrack2430th June 2019 at 19:49 #52781Toomas Moskvinov
ParticipantHello Laszlo and thank you for your reply.
I am currently on vacation in Slovakia but I will try that when I get home. I am using a long USB cable, as the uTrack24 is in a rack system and cannot reach my computer with the short cable, so will try the solution with the short one and a hub in between.
Will get back to you when I have some news.
