I take wave-files recorded by LR-16 and use them (by using uTools) for the LP-16. No problems. I take other wave-files, prepare them by uTools for LP-16 and get extremely clipping. It looks (and sounds) like, as there would be cutted the upper 8 bits of 16 bits (or 32 to 16) What´s going on, what can I do?
Please check your mixer setting in the uTool, and also check the LP-16 settings the outputs are pre or post fade. You can try to reduce the levels in the mixer if you want to use post-fade outputs or set the LP-16 outputs to pre-fade in this case not necessary to reduce the mixer levels.
Hi Laszlo, thanks for your answer. I tried both proposels, but there was no change. Absolutely the same problem. Could it be, that uTools only works with wav-files, witch have been made by the cymatic LR16 ?
