ParticipantHi–
Trying to update firmware. Web app connects to IP fine, but never gets to the 2nd screen where I can bring the file over. Just restarts, and re-displays the message: “Click here to start the update firmware process”. I am thinking the problem is, below the BCD info is the following: “No version information”. In the Utilities menu, it states the firmware as 1614911787, instead of a four-digit number (less than 2136).
So, I d/l’d the Windows drivers, I’m on 64 bit, launch the application, use ‘open’ to browse to the file, and when I click ‘Update’, it reboots the U24, then states ‘Error 0x1f: Failed to download’.
Any ideas? Seems to me it’s not displaying the correct version of the firmware. So, I really have no idea how old the f/w is on my machine.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

ParticipantI can’t seem to get the new firmware to load! All I get is a number 404 “Page not found” 🙁 . The U24 is connected to my PC and it says “USB Interface Mode” (and I know the drivers good since I have been running the Playlist Editor’s tracks) All looks good to me but I just keep getting that error message. I am running a 64bit windows 8.1. When I click on the old Firmware (2136) it seems to come up just fine, same for the OX version. Is there any easier way to just download the new (2469) firmware to a USB stick and connect it to the U24 for it to just update from there? And I did try to use the Network connection and that failed too. Any reason that this could be happening?
Thanks,
Larry

ParticipantI have downloaded the new firmware (2469) with the USB connected to the U24. All seemed fine as the update in both computer and U24 said “Update successful”. But now the U24 lights turn on and off every 7 seconds(it has been over 30 minutes now). Is this normal as it’s updating it’s software? What is the best thing to do so I don’t corrupt the U24 module?
OK(update)….I unplugged the USB from the commuter that was connected to the U24 and the 7 second on and off flashing stopped. And I see that it has the 2469 firmware update. If that was it… then great! I hope I didn’t miss anything.
Quick question…..Can the uRemote App work with Android phones? And when do you think that the MIDI connection will be updated next? Thanks 🙂

KeymasterIf the PC said update successful, you can powercycle the uTrack24.
The Android version will be coming soon.
The update for the MIDI probably included with the next firmware update.3rd April 2015 at 21:21 #25893Larry
ParticipantThank you! And I looked in the firmware manual and I didn’t find a green tab or “Reboot” button. So, how do I Powercycle?

ParticipantSimply unplug the unit and plug it back in.
