ParticipantHello,
I’m updating the firmware on my uTrack 24.
Everything went well with the setup for the update, my router, computer and the uTrack all recognized each other.
The downloaded file was navigated to when prompted and the unit began the firmware update without a problem.
My question is, how long is this supposed to take? It have been displaying the same “Firmware Upgrade in Progress” text on the uTrack and “Burning flash” with the rotating progress circle spinning constantly, on my computer screen for about 3.5 hours now.
At what point do I abort and if so, will I be able to retry once I have done so?
Thanks for any help!

GuestHello Vari-mu,
The firmware upgrade process should not take more than 2 minutes. If even after 3 minutes the reboot device message is not seen, the device can be safely restarted manually. This is an issue that occurs rarely with some combinations of browsers and operating systemsEven if the device is powered off in the middle of an update, when the device restarts it will wait for firmware upgrade. So the device can always be updated, even if something goes wrong during the update process.
