ParticipantIs it possible to monitor headphones at different levels than the outputs? I use tracks with SMPTE signal and I do not want them to sound on my headphones, but they do come out of their physical output.
Ah, I learned to edit the song.set file in TEXT EDIT … a lot faster for me.12th June 2017 at 09:54 #28479Laszlo
KeymasterHi,
If you familiar with the setting file you must to be notice this section: ” ”
If you do the same thing in uTool you’ll need to adjust the levels in the mixer then save it to the song.
There’s this option in LP-16 “Menu/Outputs: Pre or Post fader” Where you can select what happens on the outputs of LP-16.12th June 2017 at 19:53 #28496Esteban Varela
ParticipantI understand the section well, but if I go below the level of track # 16 (SMPTE), in order not to hear it on Headphones, SMPTE does not come out for physical output # 16.
So, the “PRE or POST fader” option, I do not experience any changes to the system.
Whenever I get down to -inf level # 16 (SMPTE), nothing comes out of the physical output # 16. Although I select PRE or POST in uTool2 mixer.Attachments:13th June 2017 at 09:05 #28497Laszlo
KeymasterHi,
The settings file looks good.
The uTool pre/post option just switch the level meters pre or post in the uTool nothing to do with the song.
But you need to check the LP-16 menu: Menu/Outputs: Pre or Post fader. In PRE mode the 1-16 outputs has no level setting but the CH16 will be muted in the headphones.13th June 2017 at 14:55 #28498Esteban Varela
ParticipantYou are right!.
I was doing things wrong. I was assigning PRE-FADERS in the uTool2 software, but not in the LP-16.
Thanks for your help. I was already happy with my LP-16, now I’m VERY, VERY happy.
