I’m looking at getting a utrack-x32 soon, but after looking at the uTool requirements for OS, I won’t be able to use it to import the files into my DAW. I’m running a 2009 Macbook Pro on OSX 10.6 with ProTools LE 8. Is there another way to import the audio into PT LE8 without the use of uTool?

    Hi,

The uTrack-X32 records to standard multichannel wave file, so you just need to simply drag and drop those file(s) to your DAW.
The only disadvantage if you don’t use uTool you’ll need to merge the chunks in your DAW because the uTrack-X32 split the files to 2GB chunks. But this shouldn’t be a problem in any DAW
