I use uTrack24 with uRemote on iPad just for playing back our files. I I´m not so happy with slider knob to choose the song. I think a keyboard on iPad with “enter” button to confirm the song would be a much better solution.
The “meters” are not so important in “playback mode”, so you could make some space for keyboard, if the meters were removed. Also “skip” and “record” button could be removed as well.
The uRemote can run on 4 different platforms (OS) and also on different resolutions and screen sizes have to be supported and we want to keep identical on all platforms for the easy usage About the other functions what you mentioned I’m sure there’s several users who really needs the recording and skip buttons as well level meters.
