I noticed that when we did multiple different recordings (25-30 tracks or more), there is a big slowdown and lag between the time you press the record button on Uremote and the moment when the recording starts ( it quickly takes 5-6 seconds).
In these cases, I move the files on the disk in the recording directory /MultiTrack to another folder and everything returns fast.
But this need a computer, and it means you can not read old records from the application.

Secondly, I strongly regret the possibility of reducing the number of channels on Uremote to record only 4 or 8 or 16 tracks instead of 32.

Finally, it is not possible to change the routing of a single channel in the config of the track on the console?

if I have for example in my page routing “Local 1-8” on “inputs 1-8” but in my config channel 3 I have selected “Source : In-12”, it does not record the In-12 but the In-3.

This does not take into account the changing entries in the config channel?

    Hi buvette1,

The uRemote need some time to read content form the drive. As that is only USB2 connection it take some time. You can move your subfolder inside of the MultiTrack folder in this case the uRemote and the uTrack-X32 will still able to open those files.
We do not support to reduce the channel count as the uTrack-X32 can be used with no uRemote as well in this case the card lack of UI then the user have no feedback if previously reduced the channel count then the card does not record all of the channels.
The consol handle the routing in 8 channels groups we cannot change that as this depend on the console firmware.
The reason why your setting does not applied in the recording because in the routing/card output you selected the the inputs as 1-8; 9-16; 17-24; 25-32 psychical inputs to the card then in the channel configuration you just able to select which fader handle the selected psychical inputs, but that does not have impact on the card input routing.

    Does that answer your question?

    Hi Laszlo,
when I move subfolders outside MultiTrack folder the URemote does not offer me more reading. And it becomes fast. If I let him inside the MultiTrack folder, I’m not sure this become faster. I will try it.
For the number of channels, which would be nice is that if we start recording from the URemote, we can choose the number of channels. But if we uses the button behind the card, it is necessarily 32 channels.
Like this, no problem forgetting channel when we have no feedback.
