ParticipantHi I’m hoping someone can help me. ive been using the LP 16 since last year, it doesn’t allow me to play songs in playlist format. I create the MT playlist in the software and export , but as soon as i press play on the unit it says – song playback fail.
This is really getting in the way of my live set up right now, I’ve seen people say re download the old software, I’ve done that and it still isn’t working?? any other help much appreciated ..

Please make sure you have create song and playlist for LP-16 and not for uTrack24.

Its definitely the LP-16 playlist option I’m using. The tracks play individually although then when i try to put them into a playlist it says ‘song playback failed’
Is there any fix?

I suggest you to clean up the drive and reexport the playlist from uTool. If you select only the playlist in uTool for export this will export the files which included in the playlist.
If you go to the home tab in the uTool and you select the playlist is there any orange exclamation mark?14th March 2018 at 00:48 #29547ParticipantHey Laszlo ,
Ive vlesned off the drive , re exported in this way many times now. It hasn’t worked at all any of the times.
There are no orange exclamation marks visible against any of the tracks or playlists listen , on the home page of U-tool.
Is there any other option to try fix this problem?

ParticipantI had this same problem and finally figured out that I had a period on the end of the folder name the songs were in and once I deleted the period and re-exported everything it worked fine.

Participanti create file wav by cubase and then by utool2 create the song and export than by usb to the lp16. THe files wav are found by lp16 but they are not played at all. pls help, where can be error

The songs on lp16 are showned bu if you press play nothing will be played. thanks

21st December 2018 at 23:59 #43818Participantyes, files downloaded (songs) works, they are played . so what does it mean that my files wav are not converted as requested even if lp16 can read them but not play? i use to convert files cubase and i tried another converter programs with no results
thanks27th December 2018 at 13:15 #43876KeymasterIf you create and export your songs with uTool, the source format cannot be an issue.
Please try to rename your songs in uTool and make sure there’s no space (empty period) at the end of the songs name.
If you already renamed the songs you’ll need to re-export those songs to the USB drive by using the “force overwrite” mode in uTool - AuthorPosts
