ParticipantHello there.
We have a musical band (4 members). I make music (let’s call it playback) on my PC and I am thinking about buying Live Player LP-16 for playing my playbacks on our live performances. I´m interested if LP-16 is a good choice for my needs.
I would like to send via LP-16 outputs my playback tracks. One song (one playback) contains several tracks (one track = one mono WAV file):
1. L channel MONO (left channel taken from STEREO playback song)
2. R channel MONO (right channel taken from STEREO playback song)
3. L channel MONO (left channel taken from STEREO playback song enriched by metronome click for drummer)
4. R channel MONO (right channel taken from STEREO playback song enriched by metronome click for drummer)1. and 2. are for public loudspeakers.
3. and 4. are for private headphones. Is it possible to map these four MONO tracks into LP-16 outputs as one song with four outputs ? I mean, that i can simple click PLAY and all four tracks starts at the same time…we have about 10 songs for our live performance and every song is composed of 4 single tracks which should be mapped on single outputs of LP-16. Can I program all songs at home and then simple play song by song on concert fast, clear and simply ? One more question – Are there all of LP-16 outputs stereo or mono ?
Thank you…
Luki

Participantthe short answer is ,… YES
it plays back 16 mono output channels per song. You just have to split them in your music program so they are L mono and and R mono then route the outputs as required when you are at the concert / gig.20th August 2015 at 15:33 #26377Luki
ParticipantThank you for fast answer.
But based on your answer, a new questions raised on my mind.
I don´t know if I understand it right: Do I need my computer with appropriate mixing software (which allows redirecting channels) together with LP-16 physically at the concert ? Because if yes, then the LP-16 do just the same task as a mixer.
Or it is enough for me to have (at live performance) only LP-16 and some data traveler (for example flash disk) ? And there are prepared saved instructions (made at home) in LP-16 to which WAV should play in given song in given output ? So I don´t need to have physically device with appropriate software at the concert ?

KeymasterYou can use the uTool for creating multitrack songs for the LP-16 (and the uTrack24 as well).
This software allow to route 16 (24 with uTrack24) mono track to any output on the device.
This software don’t need to connect your device to the PC. The only thing what you need one USB storage device connect to your PC, and export the songs there, then connect your USB storage device to your LP-16.20th August 2015 at 16:02 #26380Luki
ParticipantAmazing. That´s exactly what I need. Thank you.
