LP 16 pre faders / post faders setting reverts after reboot

hi, first of all – what a fantastic little gadget the lp 16 is – i really enjoy the quality of it.
my goal is to play 3 mono tracks (click, samples and timecode) to line out at the back and have only 2 of these mono tracks come out of the phones on the front.

the only way i found to do that was to set the device to “pre faders” output and mute the 3rd channel.

this works fine but as soon as i reboot the device it reverts back to “post faders” output although in the setting it will still say “pre faders”. i then have to select “post faders” confirm and then select “pre faders” again.
this is a bit annoying as i was hoping for plug and play.

another little problem is that panning seems to have no effect.
i would love to have one track one side of the headphones and the other one on the other side.
