ParticipantDo I understand it correctly that there is no possibility to load my playlists and songs made in LP-16 Playlist Editor into the new uTool?
If it’s true and I want to take advantage of future updates – then do I really need to create everything from scratch again? :angry:25th June 2015 at 12:19 #26190FOH
ParticipantHi Nodnas,
as far as I know, that is not correct. I have been using Playlist Editor earlier and have upgraded to uTool without a problem on the side of playlists and so on.
uTool has quite a few quirks in its current version, but IMHO, importing playlists does not seem one of them.By the way Cymatics, any news on the final dates for the uTool update yet?

ParticipantHey FOH,
thanks for the info…
I definitely need to explore uTool thoroughly. But I wasn’t able to import any *.play file at all so far.
I couldn’t even find my “songs” I prepared in Playlist Editor (with the WAV files assigned to tracks).
Playlist Editor isn’t the most intuitive piece of software on Earth but after trying to get the uTool working for some time I think I like uTool even less….
I’ll give it a chance anyway 😉2nd July 2015 at 15:10 #26204FOH
Participantuh…. tried it myself the other day…. turns out you are right Nodnas and my assumption was wrong!
Hope that this gets fixed soon!3rd July 2015 at 01:06 #26206FOH
ParticipantBut as our Cymatic friends announce an update for uTool in July, we can hope the update will address this issue.
Looking forward testing it out!3rd July 2015 at 11:10 #26209Chetan
ParticipantHi Nodnas and FOH,
Thanks for bringing out the issue. We guys are quite busy trying to fix some of the issues. Unfortunately due to time constraints, we might not be able to include the fix for the compatibility with Playlist Editor. Having said that, after the release next week, we will be looking to fix other issues and this one is on our to do list.
