OK…..I got the MIDI track to work in my Reaper (DAW) by adding Channel one and formatting as a .midi file to the LP-16 and it did change the scenes in my Behringer X32. My question is…. now that I can control my x32 mixer scenes, is it possible from the same .midi file to have another channel programmed (like channel 2) to work with another MIDI controlled item at the same time? Can I add another MIDI track in the “Play List Editer”??? Please let me know “if” and is it possible to operate/control “multiple” external MIDI hardware at the same time and how many can I control at the same time with the LP-16? If so….how can I do it?
PS….When will the MIDI functions be updated/available for the U-241st April 2015 at 01:02 #25870AnonymousInactive
I do not know how it works with Reaper. I use Cubase.
But I think its not really a difference with MIDI.
I use 5 MIDI channels to control 3 MIDI-units (Lightcontroller, Pedalboard, Channel-Switch) with no problem.
I export all MIDI-Tracks to one MIDI-File and “daisy-chain” the MIDI-Units.2nd April 2015 at 02:31 #25887LarryParticipant
Thanks for your reply! Over time I have found out how to set up the channel numbers for each equipment using the CC MIDI commands. And I use the Midi Solutions Quadra Thru as my MIDI chain.
My next challenge is to figure how to make my HC-VoiveLive Rack (harmony patch) to have that pitch bend slide up or down for that cool voice distortion like they do in that song from Ke$ha “Tic Toc” when her voice slides down when she says “When I get a little Tiiiippp-p-s-s-s-s-y-y-y-y-y-y”. Hopefully to accomplish that with the same MIDI track.
What do you use as a light controller?2nd April 2015 at 21:58 #25890AnonymousInactive
I use ENTTEC Hardware and D-Pro Software.
D-Pro in the last Version 1.5.2 (it is a beta but works fine) you can send the MIDI-commands from the control panel to Cubase, DMXIS etc.
It is the kind of solution that fits my needs perfectly.
