We have a problem with Cymatic Audio LP-16. We have created MIDI -files for each track with Reaper. Our guitar player’s amp and keyboard player’s keyboard are connected to LP-16 via MIDI in and though for program changes (For changing the sound patches) in real time.
The problem is that some of the songs work perfectly and some of the songs won’t work at all. The issue is that program changes won’t happen at all or are really out of time.
I have updated the uTool and firmware of the LP-16 to the latest, but it doesn’t help at all. I also tried to export files without uTool to the USB-stick but that doesn’t work either.
Is there something that you guys in Cymatic Audio can do to help us with this problem?28th August 2017 at 09:11 #28758

Any luck with this problem yet?6th September 2017 at 15:14 #28801
Hi I have sent you an answer in email on Monday morning.
I’ll quote the message here:
I have received the song and I made a test.
The LP-16 plays out the song successfully.
But the fact the midi song almost an empty file. It has only 14 controller changes nothing else.
Are you sure you have the proper midi file?[/i]6th September 2017 at 21:58 #28802
I actually got the mail and replied to you, but for some reason Gmail marked you as junk mail.
Answer to your question:
Our songs don’t have much sound changes. The MIDI -file that I sent you was the right one.
Let’s continue solve the problem here in the Cymatic Audio forum.7th September 2017 at 13:37 #28804
Thank you for your feedback.
I did the following test with your song:
I have import your midi file into Cubase
I have copy the song to USB drive then I play back on LP-16 and record the midi output of LP-16 into the same project in Cubase.
Here’s the result:
For me that’s looks identical.
Could you make sure your LP-16 firmware up to date? We have a new firmware from today (83956), please update your device and check it again.
In your case the issues happens in standard playback mode or playlist mode?Attachments:
