ParticipantHi Marco,
There is a new firmware version 3474 available for download. Could you update your device and check if your Midi problems are solved.

ParticipantHI!
I have tested a lot the firmware 3336 Laszlo gave me and all the issues seems to be solved!
I have a gig this friday so I DON’T WANT to do anything before that! 🙂
Next week I will do the update so I can check…20th June 2016 at 21:06 #27156marco

KeymasterHi giusfredi, RuudNL,
Please copy the bcd file to your USB HDD, this should solve the issue. Probably the Flash drive drive is too slow?
If you still not able to update you can use the bcd file with network update method as well. https://cymaticaudio.com/images/downloads/manuals_and_brochures/uTrack24_FirmwareUpdate_EN.pdf

ParticipantOK! Updated with the network method (on the pc it says there was an error but on the uTrack it says “update succesful”?)….
From a first and quick check seems everything to work fine…waiting to do a more in depth test!21st June 2016 at 18:38 #27170Laszlo
KeymasterIf your uTrack24 displayed the update was successfully you are on the safe side 🙂

ParticipantHi,
Sorry for the inconvenience with the update. We realized that the file name was not matching with what the uTrack24 is expecting.
It has been changed on the website and should work now.Of course you have already updated your device to 3474. If the USB drive has the same firmware(in the root drive) as the device, the update will not be prompted.

ParticipantSo this means the firmware update (from an USB device) was never tested with this firmware release?…

ParticipantHi RuudNL,
The update was tested and verified.
Unfortunately the filename was changed just before uploading to the website to be consistent with older names. You see the network update does not care about the filename.
Our mistake…

ParticipantOK, that explains a lot! Thank you!

ParticipantI have a gig coming up soon and have many MIDI programs that I use from the U24. Could any one please let me know if the new firmware is safe to use now? Any updates on its progress? Right now I’m using the firmware just below the new one and when I use the playlist the mixer settings stay the same from the 1st song all the way through…as it doesn’t change on what we had set for each song. The mixer setting will only change to what we programmed it when we hit the stop button.
