Hi! Im writing you from Mexico. I’m very interested in buying the LP 16 for my band, it seems it will help us a lot. But I have a question. I know that a Midi file has 16 channels, but if the LP16 only have one MIDI out. How can i split the signal into different channels, so 4 synths can play each one?
Hi, A single midi file can contain nearly unlimited events for 16 different channels all simultaneously, running along the same chain of midi cables. Just have each of your synths set to a different channel, and program your midi tracks to send midi on the appropriate channel for each of the synths.
Daisy chain your midi devices from your LP16, using the midi in and midi trough ports.
