I use my LP-16 almost exclusively in interface mode. It is great for using it in a virtual instrument, especially pipe organ emulation.
While I realize there can’t be too many people using it for that purpose, still it would be great to be able to re-assign outputs. For example I’d like to be able send the outputs of channels one and two to channels five and six.
In interface mode, working without a mixer–yes! I use nine (9) amplifiers and 18 speakers–it can be inconvenient to unplug jacks just to re-route signals.
If you have a more convenient method to accomplish this, I’d like to know about it.
Yes I agree with John this would be a good feature.
I also have a slightly different but similar request that more than one audio file could be routed to the same output. At preset you can pan 2 tracks, but it would be great to be able to route more than one file to an output.
The use case is when we play live, sometimes the engineer wants all 16 tracks, sometimes they want a submix of 8 or 4 outputs in groups. Rather than re-bouncing all different audio submix, it would be much easier just to have playlists with songs setup each way.
The other possible request would also be to be able to assign a file to multiple outputs, in the use case of a click track being sent to multiple outs for band mates
