ParticipantHello,
I have a problem.
I use the uTrack as player for multitrack songs.I downloaded the uRemote for iPad, all is good, but after some second it’s connected to the uTrack, it loses the connection. It happens every 4/5 seconds.
The WiFi signal is always good…just the iPad no more communicate with the uTrack. What can I do?

ParticipantHi,
I solve the problem insering a stable ID (not dynamc) on the wireless.
But another question.
When I’m in Playlist mode on uRemote, I have not access to forward, rewind and stop. They are not unabled.
So, I can’t stop the song to move on the next one.Is there a solution?
ThanksAndy

KeymasterHi Andy,
About the connection issue.
You need to make sure the firmware are up to date on your uTrack24. The current version 4030.
You also need to make sure the WiFi Assistant are disabled in your iOS device (most of the times that’s causes the loose connection)
The skip back and skip forward key are disabled in playlist mode on uRemote to change the song in playlist mode you need to long press on the song.4th September 2017 at 23:21 #28795Andy
ParticipantHi Laszlo,

ParticipantHi Laszlo,
I have to come back to you because my problem is present again.
While I play the tracks on uTack24 all is good.
If I stop for some minutes, the connection from iPad and uTrack is lost.
When I check the wi-fi connection all is good (the iPad is connected to the wi-fi of the router of uTrack) but on the screen of iPad I only have active the “demo mode”, it can’t find the uTrack (but as I wrote you, the wi-fi connection is on).I can only restore it if I reboot the router.
Can you help me?
There are some particoular setting a I have to put in the router.
It’s the only problem I have with it, but it’s very important. Thanks!

What kind of router is this? I don’t know any settings which makes any similar thing. As I understand correctly you have no problem if you don’t leave the iPad in idle time?
Are you sure the wifi assistant is disabled on your iPad?
It would be nice to see what happens if you have any other Wifi device (like computer, or Android) connected, do you experiencing the same issue with those devices?9th October 2017 at 13:54 #28985Andy
ParticipantHi Laszlo,
it’s a simple router D-Link. Yes, it seems I just have the problem if the iPad is in indle time.
Yes, the wi-fi assistant is disabled and yes, I have the same problem with the other device…I tried with Android and other different iPad.It’s very strange because if I check the wi-fi connection on the iPad, it is active, but on the uRemote screen, I only see demo mode is avaiable, and I can do anything to solve this problem. Only I have to reboot the router.
I tried with other router too, but the problem was more frequent.
Any tips?
Thanks
Andy

KeymasterIf you force close the uRemote on your iPad, or Android, then open again does it reconnect?

ParticipantNo, when it loses the connection then it doesn’t work more.
I have to reboot the router. It seems the only way.9th October 2017 at 15:55 #28989Laszlo
KeymasterStrange. But in this case it seems the problem present because of the router?!
What is the type of this DLink router?30th January 2018 at 19:22 #29392vogoos

ParticipantMy problem was the router. I changed the router and all is good. Sometimes there is a little problem, but it works.
