ParticipantSolo and mute will do it

ParticipantBut won’t that also affect the line outputs?

ParticipantNo…this only is used for monitoring.

ParticipantOk thank you for your answer.
So just to be sure: level adjustments in utool will affect the line outputs but mute and solo only affects the phones output?7th August 2015 at 02:12 #26335Tom Sailor

Please refer to page 12 of the manual for a detailed explanation of the monitor section.

ParticipantI apologize as I am mistaken… I was referring to the uTrack24’s monitoring scheme. You are correct.

ParticipantOhh no, so mute also affects output line for each channel?
It doesn’t make sense in MT mode as I could just unplug channel I want to mute ( or mute it on mixer/PA)If mute was to only affect phone output it would make LP16 so much more versatile !
I could use full 16 channels when I need it, but also just phones output with mixed down tracks plus perhaps 1 channel for click routed to drummer for example.I got to say I misunderstood this thread and only realized this now when actually trying make this work.. feel bit disappointed as I will always have to wire each channel to mixer/PA where using phones output could mean quick set up for rehearsals/ small gigs…
Any possibility this could be implemented in future so mute and solo only affects monitoring (phones output)?
Many thanks15th March 2016 at 04:57 #26915jaca

Many thanks[/quote]All is good 😀 . Apologies, somehow I’ve missed it in LP16 manual under 12.2.4. Outputs
I had to select “pre fader” setting on actual device and now each multi-track songs can be played in both:
1. full multi track mode ( thru mixer with separate outputs) for fine tuned backing track experience
or
2. simple 2 channel ( well actually 3 channel – unless phones output would work correctly with TS cable (mono cable) need to check ) mode for quick setup when big mixer isn’t available..
Fantastic!!
I haven’t used LP16 live yet as just got it, but I think it will work great.
Many thanks Cymatic! 😀 - AuthorPosts
