ParticipantI’m a sound engineer working with two bands and have purchased an LP 16,
the aim was to control it via a Roland drums, but I’m not confident it’s going to work cause of the load time needed.
the 24 track has seamless playback but only midi out .. is there any other way to control it via pads to make it more musical rather than iphone or ipads.
has anyone tried a similar setup ?26th April 2017 at 13:01 #28266Laszlo
KeymasterHi,
The LP-16 and uTrack24 not remote controllable from midi inputs.
The LP-16 has only footswitch as remote control, the uTrack24 has uRemote or copperlan manager as remote control option. Unfortunately there’s no easy solution for your usecase26th April 2017 at 15:12 #28269dan
Participantcan you not assign a function to the midi in, on the lp16,
what’s the midi in for then ?26th April 2017 at 18:42 #28270Laszlo
KeymasterThe midi I/O designed to sends trough. So if you have incoming midi signal you can connect that to the LP-16 midi input then the LP-16 will add they own midi data to the incoming then it sends out the data on the outputs.

ParticipantWhat would be the purpose of that?
will you be having a firmware update to include midi as a function?
I’ve been all over the internet and people are crying out for a midi controllable player,
