I am Giel from the Netherlands and I play in a band. We use a lot of backing tracks. We want to buy the LP-16, but we do not play with fixed play (set) lists; we play every set random songs. So we need to be verry flexible and act verry quickly.
How can I quickly scroll through the songs?
The LP-16 does not have a keyboard which I can search for a song title. Or an nummeric keypad…
Do you all perform witch fixed setlists?Regards,

The LP-16 has no remote control option for song selection.
But it has a random playback mode if that is what you need.
The next song selection can be done from the main screen by pushing the up/down key or you can use the browser for selecting the song from the drive.
The playlist feature can be also used if you prepare the list on your PC then during the show you load the playlist (with the pre-definied song order) but you can insert/change the next song during the playback using the browser function.
It may worth to conciser to take a look for the uTrack24 as well, because it has iPad/Android/PC/OSX remote option which helps for the quick access to the song selection.5th December 2016 at 14:41 #27655ParticipantHi Laszlo,

In MultiTrack Mode, I must choose Single Miode. Pushing the up/down key?
But that takes way too much time when I have for example 90 songs on the USB. 🙁 🙁
During a gig, it’s verry important that I can select a song very quickly. So the band can go on with the show and not wait for me searching a song… :S
What do you mean by; “you can use the browser?” Which browser function?The uTrack24 is not what we are looking for. We need a playback device witth midi function, not a recorder.

The LP-16 has a browser function where you have access to the files on your USB drive.

The uTrack24 has MIDI output. It has the same playback features like LP-16 (even more) but it has faster access to the songs with the connected uRemote remote control
