ParticipantSometimes the .set file is missing from a recorded take on the uTrack24. This seems to cause uTool to skip listing that take, which prevents the take from importing. The wave files for the missing take are in the Multitrack folder on the usb drive. Is there a way to reconstruct or rebuild the .set file for this take? I have install all the latest firmware, drivers and utool.

KeymasterHi,
At the moment there’s no easy way to build a set file.
But the coming uTool version (we gonna release really soon) will provide you an option to import the song where the setting file are missing.
BTW did you formatted the drive with uTrack24? This is very strange where you have proper audio data but the set file are missing.
Is that happens with other drives as well?
Are you sure the firmware on your uTrack24 –>3474 ?20th February 2017 at 23:58 #28049Alan
ParticipantYou were right that the firmware was the previous version. I have now updated the uTrack24. Glad to hear the next version uTool will address missing .set files. I think I can use Audacity to import, then cut and paste the various multi-track take files to rebuild the session.
