    Greetings all,

I’m looking at using the LP-16 for ‘live dub’ performances. One part of the dub/reggae tradition is the ‘rewind’ whereby if the crowd really feels a track you quickly start it over again. However I’ve noticed in the manual the transport buttons seem to work in a slightly odd fashion skipping two songs ahead, and not actually changing the song till the current song ends.

My question is, is it inconvenient to quickly start a song over again with LP-16? Or is there a simple solution (I’m assuming there must be, as it’s a very simple feature you’d expect any machine to have!)

    Any info appreciated

If you press Stop once, it actually pauses playback (pressing Play now will resume playback from where it was paused). Pressing Stop a second time will stop playback. When playback is stopped, pressing Play will now start playing from the beginning of the track again.

So to stop and re-start a song, you need to press Stop twice and then press Play.
