Participant…just found out, that I can create an “autoplaylist.play” via MacOS just by renaming my playlist on the flashdrive. But it would be great to have this function in uTool on the “Edit Target” page. Selecting the playlist, right click it and find “autoplay” as a dropdown choice would be perfect. For example when I have different shows on my USB-stick and just want to change a setlist to make it autoplay.
Thx once more,

KeymasterOn the export tab in uTool if you hover the mouse on any playlist you can set the playlist as auto playlist. If you click on the label the selected playlist exported as an auto playlist, so you don’t need to rename manually.

ParticipantThat was quick- thanks Laszlo!
Yes, I got this- but still you would need to export the edited playlist to your USB-media. And once you changed the folder structure on either the USB-medium or inside uTools project folder you would have to re-export the corresponding audiofiles.
Now there’s even a chance to render the playlist unusable when you only export the playlist and not the corresponding audio files- just happened to me.
Therefore it would be cool to have this feature on the “Edit Target” page: no export neccessary, no danger of changed file-paths.
Thanks again!12th January 2018 at 17:30 #29325Laszlo
KeymasterI got that, but if you are using quick export mode and the audio files already exist on your drive in this case only the modified files (.set file for mixer parameters etc and .play file for playlist) transferred to the drive. So that would be quick and easy, and no changes in audio files.
