ParticipantI too am having an issue with skipping audio from Utrack x32. I made multiple recordings-then updated firmware and still the same thing is happening. I imported file via utool and then imported wav files into Logic pro. Wav files were skipping. (one second of audio then one second of silence-skipping) it continued to play like this. I then went to the actual audio files (wav) that were in the Audio lib and played those just on my mac by hitting space bar and playing it via “finder” and the actual file played the same with skipping almost as if it’s missing audio. We really need this to work to record our Easter Productions this week Friday through Sunday (whole reason we got this). Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

ParticipantHi Justin,
Your problem seems to be different from other problems mentioned. Some users seem to have crackling noise when using 48kHz and it does not occur in 44.1kHz.
Could you try with both the sampling rates and let us know?

ParticipantHello everyone,
I’ve been searching and searching on the internet but I could not find out how to fix the skipping audio problem. My audio is all chopped…
Justin, did you fix it ?
Thank you

KeymasterHi Julien,
This sounds to me the recording has dropouts.
You can verify that on your computer if you take a look at the recording log text file in song folder.
If your recording has dropouts most of the times related to the USB drive.
You need to make sure:–The USB drive formatted with uTrack-X32 card
-You are using USB HDD (most of the USB thumb drives are not good enough to record 32 uncompressed channels) - AuthorPosts
