Participantare we still on track for this week for the uRemote?
31st March 2015 at 02:30 #25866andre
ParticipantIs there any news on which “coming week” it is going to be with the uRemote?
I truly hope to see the application really soon, because this is why I basically spent well over € 800 to buy this piece of kit.
Having to use a windows laptop and having to transfer files from a Mac and Windows machine back and forth is even worse than my previous 1990’s hardware sequencer.
Please let us know if March (which is gone tomorrow, as it is 31 March now) is still on track.Furthermore a little tip for the moderator of this forum: it is rather annoying that messages do not contain their date and time. Are we looking at old or new stuff? This also applies to some of the messages that say: “next week” or “yesterday”. No idea when that is or was.

ParticipantGreat news! Going to try it out very soon. I anyway remember that uRemote was somewhere also announced for Android. I hope we’re going to see that release as well?
Thanks for any news!

ParticipantGreat news guys! I couldn’t think of a better response to my question.
The MADI card coming this summer looks interesting as well. Do you have any indication on the pricing?4th April 2015 at 00:06 #25896Tom Sailor
ParticipantMac OSX and Windows uRemote app are now available in the downloads section.

ParticipantYesterday I have tried out the uRemote app on iOS and OS X, and I have a one remark and 2 questions:
1. The firmware update through USB was not working on an Apple Mac and not on a Windows (32bit) machine. I ended up upgrading the uTrack24 through the web-interface, which worked.
2. The uRemote app on OS X kept failing to work, is this a known issue? (Yosemite 10.10.3 is my system)
3. On iOS the transport side of the app worked perfectly. The Mute, solo and volume functions did not work. I was using an existing songlist, on which all channels (eight) were unmuted in the songlist. Is this a known issue?10th April 2015 at 00:59 #25908Tom Sailor
Participantthanks for your input…could you please tell us if there were any error codes during the firmware updates?
10th April 2015 at 01:04 #25909andre
ParticipantThrough both USB update apps (OSX and Windows) the uTrack24 would not connect, except for once, where the error message indicated the “file was corrupt”. After a reboot the uTrack was still in its original (firmware) state. With the update through the web-interface everything went OK, and after the reboot, the uTrack24 displayed the correct new firmware version.

ParticipantDear tech guys at Cymatic: the mute, solo and volume functions are still not working, not from any device connecting to my uTrack 24. I have tried iPhone (5), iPad (3), Macbook Pro (2014), and a Windows PC (8.1). Could this be a (partially) failed firmware update? If I look at the firmware indication, it does say the most recent update. All other features work fine. I would appreciate a response.
Any others that have the same issue, or am I the only one?4th May 2015 at 23:04 #26009Tom Sailor
ParticipantHi
Are you monitoring from the headphone jack?
4th May 2015 at 23:21 #26011andre
ParticipantNo, I am playing out on the DSUB, on the first 8 channels, 44.1 Khz, 16 bit.
5th May 2015 at 10:10 #26022Laszlo
KeymasterThe mute, solo, PAN, channel volume have no impact on the DSUB outputs.
That functions used for monitor mixing –> Headphones output and MAIN output 1-25th May 2015 at 16:01 #26023andre
ParticipantThanks: that was not clear to me. It would however be a feature that I think is very welcome to bands that use the uTrack 24 on stage, and want to remotely mix and mute channels. I am using the uTrack 24 as a backing player, and it depends on the setting of the band which channels should or should not be heard. I would prefer the muting and volume on the uRemote to work on the D-SUB channels, in stead of having to go into a layer on my digital mixer (which is out of reach during play, and we have no technician/mixing person). An idea for a future update, or does the hardware prohibited the D-SUB outputs to be managed?
5th May 2015 at 16:14 #26024Laszlo
KeymasterI added your message to the feature request.
