ParticipantIf I manually start recording from the soundcard itself, the uRemote reads the time as recording, but transport buttons do not work to start, stop, or place markers … I tried a delete and re-install of the app to no avail. The app reads the presence and of the X32 , just will not control it ..

KeymasterHi,
What is the firmware version on your uTrack-X32?
Please make sure the firmware updated to v3865 (Feb, 2017)29th May 2017 at 20:46 #28431Gabriel A Pass
ParticipantYou’ve probably checked on this, but just a thought. Do you have an internet connection on the uTrack’s newtork?
I’ve run into some behavior I experienced as remote control apps failing to respond but was actually the iOS device switching wireless networks to favor one with an internet connection. If the network your uTrack-X32 is connected to doesn’t have internet, an iOS device will sometimes spontaneously disconnect. If it does that after you’ve launched uRemote, it would have the track listing but not be able to play.
Just double check in your settings that your iOS device hasn’t changed networks. On a cellular device, you might have to turn off cellular data to be sure.13th June 2017 at 16:19 #28499Gabriel A Pass

KeymasterThank you for your comments, that is very helpful for our users.
One more addition for this iPad/iPhone wifi issues:
Toggling Wi-Fi Assist solved iPhone Wi-Fi issues for many, which is why you should give it a try. To do that, navigate to Settings > Cellular, scroll down, turn the feature on and turn it back off. - AuthorPosts
