    While recording a gig last evening was monitoring levels on uRemote and in the middle of recording the unit (uTrack 24) would reboot losing about 2 minutes of live recording each time. This happened about 3 times where I would see the meters on the uremote drop off then come back then about 30 seconds later say no unit connected. (I was only about 5 feet away from the wifi router so its not a distance issue).. I finished the evening out without using the uremote and there were no issues even with a 2 hour straight recording. 🙁

    I’m sorry to hear that…can you please give us some more info? We’re any other devices connected to the network? Did you have any other devices accessing the uRemote app? Was it a dedicated network or were you tapping into an existing network in a facility? What platform were you using the uRemote on?

    Only device connecting to uTrack was the following:
    Using iPad Air 2, 64 Gig running IOS 8.3
    uRemote v 1.0.001

    Wireless network was stand alone router, not connected to internet just acting as wifi / ethernet connection, no other devices connected except for UT24 (ethernet) and ipad (wifi).

    Utrack 24, v2469 firmware
    ok iPad Air 2, 64GB running IOS 8.3
    uRemote 1.0.001

    Standalone network:
    Wireless router is Belkin N300
    No internet connection just being used as access between UT 24 and ipad

    Hi Tom

    Does having multiple devices looking at the same u track24 over the network either via laptop or ios/android apps pose reliability issues? Scenario is remote via Win tablet on stage and midi tech monitoring playback via laptop.

    Hi adamp,

    The problem with the crash due to wifi traffic had been resolved in the revision 2644 for uTrack. Any version you have beyond this should not have the crash due to wifi.

    Coming to your other question about the reliability, we have done tests with upto 4 devices connected to the same uTrack. We have not found any problems. But again, we have not done long term testing with 4 devices connected to the same uTrack.

    We can safely tell you that with 2 devices you should have no problems at all with the reliability.
