I know this is not a new topic but very important. The convenience of using a thum drive on the utrack24 is what really could make it great. In the last usb post it was said that it would be difficult to recommend a thum drive for various reasons, but with the size, speed and price point of these drive it must be posible to make them work or find common ones that do?
This an being able to record at high bit rates when using your own digital convertors through the adat card.
To use a thumb drive for recording purpose isn’t a good idea.
But of course that’s also depends on the channel count/resolution/sample rate.
To use HDD provide you a reliability in any case.
However to format HDD/SSD/Thumb drive with uTrack24 still important to have decent performance for recording
