Thanks – it’s making life easier for us Mac users. One issue I’ve picked up though
when working with the mixer: if you want to set your levels within utool mixer, the output of those channels doesn’t match what you are seeing on the faders until you either double click the fader or grab and re-drag to wherever you want it. The same s true if you reopen an already edited project – even though your faders are set, the actual output only corresponds once you redrag the fader. Hope that makes sense?
I’ve made trk 15 and 16 my monitoring tracks. So my engineer only sends 15+16 back to out monitors and we get a balanced mix of whats going to FOH. Somehow those two channels /faders in utool are always screaming loud even though the levels are automatically set to -12 (if I recall correctly). Only if I grab those faders does the output come down to -12…
something to look at for the next update

Hello, I just start working on uTool (Mac) for the first time today and so far it works good. I am able to upload songs and make playlist with them but when I try to export the songs and the playlist on my usb thumb drive the “export” button isn’t even highlighted and I can’t export anything. I’m only able to export my files in directory mode??? I have even tried with 3 different usb thumb that I had previously formated with my LP-16. Can you help me? I have a gig on saturday so I’m a little bit rushed.

How do you have the drive connected?23rd April 2015 at 03:44 #25975DominikParticipant
I have a very similar problem: If I edit a song in uTool for Mac (under the “Export” tab and the “Multitrack Songs” tab) for the uTrack 24 and I open the mixer – no matter if on the “Song” side or on the “Track” side after clicking “Edit” for the song – something strange happens: I configure a fader setup for the Monitor Mix and click “OK”. The next time I open the mixer again, there is a COMPLETELY different fader setup, and it keeps changing every time I open the mixer again. It either makes no difference if I “Save and Quit” the edited song. The mixer keeps coming up with new erratic fader setting everytime I open it. The settings are always 0 dB or -12dB for the affected faders. And this happens only on the “Monitor Mix” side. The “Direct Out Mix” stays the same (thank goodness). I can see no pattern in this behaviour. What do I do wrong? Playing a big show upcoming Saturday with the otherwise brilllant machine …
OK, correction: I open the mixer and pull all faders down except for 23 and 24. I close the mixer. I re-open it, and fader 9 is up again. Faders 23 and 24 stay up. I pull fader 9 down, close the mixer, re-open it, and faders 7, 12 and 14 are up. I pull those down, close the mixer, re-open it, and fader 9 is up again. Same game, close mixer, re-open it, and faders 7, 12 and 14 are up again. And this keeps repeating over and over again, always alternating between 9 or 7, 12 and 14 … My mind is boggling as we speak.23rd April 2015 at 23:14 #25980Alexi RiouxParticipant
