just installed the new version of uTool2 over existing uTool2 installation – worked fine 🙂
The new Mixer now is splitted in channel 1-8 and 9-16 but for large multitrack songs it is better to show all channels in one screen. I use the Mixer to adjust the volume for all 16 tracks. For that reason it would be nice to change the view by a simple click between splited channels and full overwiew.
It is also possible to change the playback mode between “Stereo”, “Multitrack Pre” and “Multitrack Post” – good idea – but only “Stereo” plays all the 16 tracks. Both Multitrack modes only play the tracks on channel 1-8 and ignores all tracks on channel 9-16!!!!! Please let me know if this is a general buck and if yes, when we can expect a fix for this problem !?
There is also a little problem within the Mixers channel view. If you change the view between the channel section 1-8 and 9-16 and reverse there is still a freezed picture overlay from the previous channel selection. To reset the display you have to stopp and restart the song.

1. Regarding your feedback of Mixer screen problem/change, we will review if it is possible to implement that in the next release.
2. When you playback in Multitrack pre/post mode, are you connecting your cymatic device (or any interface that can handle as many tracks as you are playing) to the computer using USB? The idea behind having these new playback modes was for the users to check their multitrack songs directly on the device without having to export the songs to USB drive.
If you want to use the Multitrack pre/post playback mode, connect your Cymatic device to the PC using USB wire (do not connect the USB drive in the front panel). Select the output device in the uTool Settings tab.7th March 2017 at 00:47 #28108SaschaParticipant
Thank you for the answers. Is it possible to rollback to the Beta version to enable me to use the old mixer again? The splitted channel view and the freezed fragments makes it hard for me to work with the new version.
Regarding the playback modes I understand and will try next time.

The previous versions of uTool are still available on the downloads section of the Cymatic website.
