Sascha Maksymov
ParticipantHi,
My Band uses the uTrack24 as a multi-output playback device. We use separate channels for click & Backing Tracks (9 Tracks in Total).
Sometimes when a song is loaded and “play” is pressed, there is an extremely loud noise (sounds kind of like “Pink noise”) coming through all the channels (all the LED’s are RED) that won’t stop until we pause the song or skip to the next one. When we load the next song and go back to the song that caused the problem – everything is fine. It happend on different tracks (when loaded the particular track again everything was fine) all songs are in the same bitrate and quality (24 bit /44.1 khz). We already tried different Thumb Drives and also regular “spinning-disk” Hard Drives.
As we really rely on those backing tracks live we need to fix this problem asap – as well as we would like to NOT kill our eardrums (using in-ears)… 😉
thanks for your suggestions!
Our uTrack is on the newest Firmware 3124.
Best Regards

ParticipantThanks for the response – what do you mean with “content” – the whole content of the memory stick / HD we’re using? it’s about 5-6 Gigabytes – do you have a server where i can upload such a huge filesize?

KeymasterHi,
I sent you an invitation message to our corporate dropbox folder.
Please upload the files to this folder.
Yes, it would be nice to have all of the songs from the USB stick (or at least the songs where you had problems + 1 song before + next song + playlist)Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

ParticipantHi Laszlo,
thanks for the invitation – my dropbox mail adress is a different one – i just requested permission.
I will upload the whole content, as I mentioned in my first post – it’s not reproducable, the Noise happens to be on different songs
each time we practice….when we press forward to get to the next song and then back to go to the previous song (which caused the noise)
everything is fine…..9th March 2016 at 12:07 #26883Laszlo
KeymasterCan you send me please the .play form the #PLAYLISTS folder and .set files from the song folders?

KeymasterI tried to reproduce the problem with no success.
Do you remember which song(s) had this problem?
Can you please check again in your uTrack24 menu/Utilities/system details: The firmware version are 3124?9th March 2016 at 17:49 #26888Sascha Maksymov
ParticipantI remember the problem happened on the songs “rise and fall” and “inner voice”, but i don’t think it’s a problem specific to these songs, as we went on to the next track and then back to the song which caused the problem, it worked out just fine….my guess is that there’s some sort of error in the “preloading” of the song which causes the pink noise through all channels…..
our uTrack is on Firmware 3124.
