Wanna use LR-16 first time soon... Question regarding VOCAL EFFECTS! - Cymatic Audio

A band I’m in called The Storyteller will headline a big festival show this summer.
Unless the festival offers recording straight from the PA, I will bring my Live Recorder-16 and hook it up.
HOWEVER.
Because the LR-16 takes its signal from INSERT on mixer:
Doesn’t this make it impossible for using vocal effects live?!
I’m sure we wanna have compression and reverb on the vocals for the audience…
But now I’m not sure if we can sacrifice that for recording the vocals straight…
HELP! :unsure:

Hi Cederick,
The LR-16 designed to use line level (insert) as you described. I assume you need that effect on very few channels. In this case you can use the insert connection on all inputs then use some of the outputs (aux etc) to record the vocal channel(s) with effects.
